Vivienne Tam decided to go punk and Pop Art for her Fall Winter 2013 collection. She wanted to celebrate individuality, the essence of yin and yang, and the idea of taking imagery from popular culture that pays tribute to the ordinary object and the everyday person. She intricately melded the concepts into a straightforward collection full of red, white, black, and electric blue hues. Silk, wool, and leather were some of the fabrics chosen to create the muti-dimensional silhouettes. Watch our interview with Vivienne Tam and with the lead hairstylist for the show.
